Come Gather at my Table to re-create one of our prized edible forest feasts and tablescapes. Making best use of nature's Autumnal/Winter bounty you'll spend a magical afternoon and evening in our candlelit and beautiful old mill kitchen - cooking and baking and practicing your photography and styling skills with me, Carole (owner of Lazy Sunday and Pebble and Pine Creative).
We'll dine within a magical autumn/winter foraged forestscape - the stunning backdrop to our evening feast (created, eaten and enjoyed by us all) - that will delight the senses and prove that we really do feast with our eyes.
At the end of a day in which everything will be beautiful, you'll leave with full hearts, a beautiful box of edible forest treats, and a bespoke Lazy Sunday 'seed head embellished' ceramic platter. And, we hope, the inspiration to create something magical in your own home or creative space.
This is a truly hands on and immersive experience and we know that you will each bring your own perspectives to our collective table. We all see differently and sharing how we 'see' and and how we create with others will enable us all to be both inspired and inspiring.
To this end, we encourage you to bring your camera (phone or dslr) to capture beautiful images of this magical break from reality. I'll work with you to help you to convey not just the unfolding story of your day, but also to capture strong images in a candlelit setting.
You should arrive at our old mill kitchen by the sea in Kirkcaldy for 1pm - a light lunch will be served - grazing style - in order to fuel your creativity and give you the opportunity to meet everyone else attending.
We plan to dine around 6pm and envisage the evening finishing about 8pm
Tea and coffee and soft drinks and cake will be available throughout. Food is at the very heart of this wonderfully experiential and creative day and we hope you feel beautifully indulged on the day
£225+VAT per person to include all refreshments and evening feast
There is parking immediately outside the old mill. Should you be travelling by train, Kirkcaldy station is just around the corner from us.
There are no rules but I suggest comfy shoes and comfy garbs. And bring a pinny!
